Features: 

• Patent Pending Acoustic Design—full range performance from a smaller diameter speaker, the Cassini oval woofer is mounted on a diagonal to the enclosure. This allows the three active drive units to fit into a smaller cutout size, achieving bass performance equivalent to ceiling speakers that are at least one increment larger in diameter. The result is better performance with less visibility.

• BroadCoverage3-Way Design. The woofer is mounted diagonally to the rear of the enclosure and the mid and high frequency drive units are mounted to the front baffle. The midrange drivers are ideally sized at 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" depending on model and the tweeters are all 3/4"ring radiatorsor silk domes. Since they are dedicated to only reproduce mid and high ranges, they inherently offer more even frequency response as you move to one side or the other of the speaker, or sit off axis in a home theater environment. The benefit iseven off axis listeners hear all of the music and dialogue.

Like the tweeter level switch, a sophisticated “notch filter” reduced the range from 80 Hz-150 Hz by 3 dB in the mid-bass where adjacent wall or ceiling reflections can add “boominess.”
